Watermark exists because documents leak. Here is how we make sure we are never the weak link.
Marked, then forgotten
Your original is deleted with the copies it made, 90 days after the newest one is marked — long enough to add the recipients who turn up late, and no longer. Deleting a document destroys its identifier mapping for good.
No PII in your files
Each copy carries an opaque random identifier — never a name or an email. The mapping from identifier to person lives on our servers, and only you can query it.
Encrypted throughout
Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, and processed in isolated environments. Private deployment and data residency are things we will talk about — write to us.
